We offer a range of filters for supply or supply and installation. We currently offer a free test service after every installation. This is a requirement when new filters have been installed on a system.

Carbon filtered fume hoods are sometimes referred to as Ductless Fume Hoods or Recirculatory Carbon Filtration Hoods. Please be aware that there are many different filters available for the multitude of manufacturers of laboratory fume cabinets and hoods for whom we supply replacement filters. Each is optimised for different uses. It would simply not be feasible to keep these in stock. Each filter is individually manufactured to order.

Loose fill molecular carbon filters are a robust solution for deodorisation. Due to the cylindrical formation a large amount of carbon can be used over a great surface area. Suitable for commercial and industrial applications. Specially impregnated carbon can remove chemical odours and gases such as chlorine, ammonia, hydrogen etc. Available in Galvanized steel, Stainless steel or plastic.

Granular Carbon Panels are constructed from galvanized mild steel with expanded mesh grilles either side. Carbon bed is supported and separated internally to provide uniform distribution of air and to reduce any bed settlement. Both sides are covered with a Cerex membrane to reduce dust migration.

Granular carbon panels offer a broad spectrum removal of contaminants, but where applicable impregnants can be introduced to base carbon granular media or extruded media to target specific containments.

Carbon Cell Filters

Activated carbon cell filters consist of bonded carbon panels sealed within a galvanised steel casing. This strong construction enables the unit to withstand large air volumes and increased dwell times. A polyurethane base seals the unit totally to eliminate any air bypass.

Solid carbon panels are arranged in ‘V’ formation to deal with what may be considered high concentrations of gaseous or odour contamination. A strong and robust ‘base frame’ system is required to house this filter type. In some instances the contaminant may require the use of an impregnated carbon to enhance effective removal. Typical applications include kitchen extract odour control, commercial food manufacturing, laboratory supply and extract systems, office air supply, and control in health institutes.

Activated carbon cell filters offer a practical solution for controlling gases and odours in airflows from 0.1m3/s up to 10m3/s +.

Thermally bonded and welded into pockets to form a leak free filter unit, the pocket shape ensures an equal dust load for full use of each pocket. This helps offer our bag filters a guaranteed longer life and low resistance. These filters are three stage synthetic, offering no glass fibre.

Standard bags have 3, 4, 6 or 8 pockets. 5 and 10 pocket bags are available.

Filter HEPA

We supply mini pleat, deep pleat and absolute filters for laminar flows, in efficiencies from 95 – 99.999%. Supplied in MDF, galvanised, stainless steel, pleats separated by corrugated aluminium or thermoplastic. Set in a wooden or metal housing with double or single seal as required.
