Paint Spraying & Powder Coating
Spraying any type of paint indoors ideally requires some kind of extraction system. However, if you’re spraying 2K/solvent-based paints and lacquers then extraction is a must. Breathing in any paint mist (containing isocyanates) is directly linked to many cases of asthma (see HSE website for more details). ‘Water-based’ does not mean ‘isocyanate-free’, just that it is emulsion based and has reduced levels of solvents.
Klingman can supply and install a range of cost-effective paint fume extraction units, from single to multiple units depending on the size of your paint room/area. Our units will quickly extract the surrounding air, passing it through a filter media and then the cleaned air is vented to atmosphere via an external cowl.
